Hello group. I have a Case 1835. Owned this machine for more years than I can remember. Can't imagine being without it. So several years ago I was told of a suggestion from Case to install an electric fuel pump. Which I did. It has worked very well. Improved starting and seems to have helped performance. Check for fuel flow on the discharge side of the lift pump before you replace it. If you keep up with the inline filter the lift pump is very durable. Shutoff solenoids can and do fail, too. Digging a little deeper I found the ECU relay by the battery isn’t working. Relay is good and I have power but no ground there. And what I suspect is the ecu fuse has no power. Fuel pump failure is a specific problem that a number of New Holland LX885 are experiencing at around 2,000 hours. This could be hastened if you have frequently missed some of its supposed regular maintenance schedules.
