So I am trying to check the parking brake solenoid, but apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out which one it is. Anyone got any indication where the brake solenoid is on a 280. It looks like on the 240-250s it is inside the hydaulic filter housing, but the 280 is different. You won't have any power to the brake solenoid until the keys on, seat switch activated first, then the seat belt switch, and finally press the park brake switch all the way down. Get out of the seat or unbuckle and it loses power to the solenoid. Looking for help with 1999 JD 250 skid steer. The parking brake won't release, this locks out the drive and bucket hydraulics.
