Trying to figure out something about skid steer quick attach mounting plates. There are two sets of holes in the bottom of the bucket side attach plate. Why is this? I have a kubota bucket that only has the outer set of holes. I am in the process of trying to make a skid steer adapter plate for the tractor side of my mahindra 3016.

Are you referring to a "universal" skid steer quick attach (SSQA)? Two other QA systems (that I know of) are the "global" / "European" QA and the "John Deere" QA. Yes, welding the system onto the FEL will be a requirement due to the forces (and abuse) that the attachments & loads will inflict. This adapter allows use of just about any non-pto driven attachment on the front of tractor. It's original purpose was to enable me to use 3 pt implements on the skidsteer. Now that I have the new Mahindra with SS quick connect, I am able to share many SS attachments that I had, like the 8' boom pole in the picts. Please excuse the rust/mud.
