I was thinking Hitachi originally but after reading this forum there appears to be a disproportionate number of problems with them. But I have an old mini excavator at present on a smaller property (Hitachi Mu33) which has given me good service. But I want to sell this to get a bigger machine with steel tracks.

I have recently acquired a Bobcat 632. It’s old, maybe late ‘70s early ‘80s. It has a Ford 1.1L 4 cyl gasser in it. Maybe 30-35 HP. It’s called a KSG416 engine. They made a gazillion of em back in the day, but parts are getting hard to find. It’s seized up. That’s all . Engine Cylinders: 4 Engine Family: ISBE ECM Type: Bosch EDC7 For engine without brake and without vgt turbocharger for Cummins truck engines. Normal operation of a skid-steer is with engine running at set governed speed of say 2100 rpm. I guess you could set up with a foot control for the throttle but with the bouncing around of the loader think it would be hard to control.
