I have an old snowplow off a Willys truck that I want to mount to a quick attach (QA) skid steer plate to use on my tractor. I purchased the QA on e-bay (it should arrive by the weekend) and it says it is made of 1/4" plate. Before you weld the a-frame to the blank plate, be sure that your loader arms are down against the boom stops and the a-frame is parallel to the ground. Most likely, you will also need to have an additional gusset to make it strong enough.
