Flip the cab and look at the centering plate on top of the hydrostatic pumps. There steering isn't rocket science, but a service manual would be very handy. For your problem, don't worry about the wear in the steer lever bushings or the shocks, they do nothing for neutraling out the steering. lately the unit starting to move by itself - levers are in center postions - cannot stop unit- have to keep moving levers back and forth to stay in position !!
If your machine has only one tilt cylinder, one way is to get metal caps that suit the cylinder fittings and hose fittings. Cap the hoses off, and cap one of the tilt cylinder fittings so the other is open. Start that machine and lift the arms up and see if the cylinder moves on it's own.
