Try replacing the safety rocker switch (upper right). Or you could disable the peddle locks all together. Each spool has an operating rod for the lock out. Remove the solenoids and access the push rods.

I recently bought a Mustang 940 with the Yanmar 4TN82E. When starting, it will turn over and fire, but not start. If you keep the key in the start position, it will fire (but not start/run) repeatedly. It has a new outer air filter, but I am waiting on . When you go to turn right, the right side motor should stop turning. The left side should push extra hard to make it turn right. Does it push as hard as it used to when you are going straight? Like when you are pushing the bucket into the pile?
