Running any mulching head, pretty much overloads any brand or model of CTL. Even the ones with upgraded hydraulics and a forestry package. In hot weather, the hydraulics WILL overheat when running a mulching head flat out. So, having said this, I would go with a dedicated mulcher if you buy anything. I have a 2017 bobcat t770 with bobcat mulching head. About 20 machine hours ago it started losing power in the mulching head. The engine runs fine but the power to the mulching head makes it almost unusable. The problem seems worse when it’s warm.
