gehl 4500 skid steer reviews I am in the market for a skid steer to use on the farm. I have found a Gehl 4640 with around 1600hrs. Are these good machines/ what should I look for when. I want a flail mower for my tb260. So far I've price an agrotok $2200 but is chinese and requires a case drain. Lipa 6-7k Italian made no case drain needed. Usa mowers 15k usa made but I don't want to spend that much. Is there any other brands in the 3-7k range I should look at. Excavator is 12700lbs and 27gpm aux1 flow. Thanks!

I am in the market for a skid steer, and I have enjoyed Case skidsteers in the past, but talking to a friend today, and he suggested Gehl as a possiblity. Checked with the dealer here in town, I can get into a slightly used (150 hrs) Gehl, 90hp, 8000lb machine, 2 speed, loaded for 000 Canadian. Gehl skid loaders are bullet proof. Deutz oil cooled are good engines. You won't be upset. Except you didn't get a bigger one. We are all John Deere except gehl skid loaders. Gehl 4500 that he bought brand new. He has about 2500 hrs. on it and never changed the hydraulic fluid. Over the yrs. the linkage for the left T bar to move forward and back has had new linkage.
