I have a gehl 5640 with a duetz oil cooled engine with about 3200 hours and have had nothing major go wrong. I have always had gehl so am used to their controls and haven't got used to any others. I feel the duetz engine gets better fuel economy than my newer 5640 that has a different engine.

But also do brush hogging , snowblower, moving stone too. How are the new Gehl 40 series skid steers? They seam to be very nice saw one at the mascon show. seam very basic and easy to work on .
