I'm thinking about getting a mustang 2032 skid loader, is the mustand brand any good? do they have more/less problems then gehl or bobcat or john deere etc? As with most internet searches for equipment reviews, you typically only find those folks with bad experiences and looking to vent. As someone looking to add a skid steer on a modest budget to the farm, I've found several Mustang's in my price range but I'm leary based on lack of positive reviews. I just got done looking around, it seems that the mustang 2109 and Gehl 7810are pretty much the same machine with similar reliability issues. Sounds like there is always something small breaking on them. Buying is scary. I ran across a Mustang 940 skid steer with low hours. Just wondering if people have experience operating these skids? What controls are used on these machines? Are parts readily available? I have attached a picture of the one Im looking at. Thanks for your input.

The little Mustang skid-steer was under my watchful eye since it came on to the site, from the unloading off the tag-along, to moving scattered items all over the site, rocks, topsoil, overgrown grass and weeds; and the use of the spreader bar to tidy up the site once the bulk moving was in hand. A few questions as I am not familiar with Mustang equipment. I am looking for a backup skid steer to keep in our small fleet. We do helical and driven piles and minor dirt/gravel moving on job sites. 1. Are they easy to convert to all joystick control?
