I am in the market for a skid steer to use on the farm. I have found a Gehl 4640 with around 1600hrs. Are these good machines/ what should I look for when inspecting it? A JD skid steer salesman once told me that it really didn't matter what brand you were to talk about most unless beaten badly will go 2500-3000 before they need much in the way of hydro work. I have a 2004 T-190 that I tracked down last spring at Kan Equip and it had 120hrs on it at that time. Forum for GEHL discussions of skidsteers as well as GEHL skid steer attachments.
