The first ones arrived with a leaking hydraulic hose that Marshall to me to just "go get fixed". The hydraulic seals blew out after 20 or so hours on that saw. The second saw blew out after about 2 hours. Gudday all, I am looking for advice on skid steer tree mulching attachment. Due to the hills I will be working on I have eliminated fitting a mulcher onto my digger and looking at the skid steer method. I am going to look at a Mustang .
Running any mulching head, pretty much overloads any brand or model of CTL. Even the ones with upgraded hydraulics and a forestry package. In hot weather, the hydraulics WILL overheat when running a mulching head flat out. So, having said this, I would go with a dedicated mulcher if you buy anything. The engine runs fine but the power to the mulching head makes it almost unusable.
