In the last 20 years of working on heavy equipment I've seen very few of these problems with Hitachi excavators until you get into the mini's. Ex120 and up appear to all be pretty much the same. Actually, I believe the EX60 and EX120-1,2&3 are all considered grey market machines because Deere had the same size machine in their lineup. Grey Market Machines I have two grey market machines. An Hitachi EX55, 12,000 # with hydraulic thumb. And a PC30 Komatsu, 7,000 # with hydraulic thumb. Komatsu parts are not hard to come by, from the Komatsu dealer. But I have had my trials with John Deere trying to get parts for the Hitachi. Hello all, I’m a newbie here, first post. I am trying to find any information possible on the Kubota kx026 excavator. I know it’s grey market in Canada but I need any manuals possible, service manual, operators manual or cross over manuals. Anybody else have any luck locating these? Thanks, stay.

I got some very good advice on here telling me this was a very bad idea. This advice I did not follow, to my own peril.
