Probably just change the attacher joint to be the same as the skid steer and it should work, although it will probably look a bit strange. I put the winch back on the forks and then backed up to the trailer with the skid steer and hauled them to the road. I could use the winch in the front to help me get up and steep hills or through any deep mud. I ended up taking the hoses off of the two hydraulic motors that run the drive chains and it turned freely so we could winch it up onto the trailer.
Has anyone ever bolted a winch on a bobcat? I have been working in an area that has very loose soil and sometimes cannot even push myself out with the bucket. I end up getting the tractor to pull myself out.
