When I sit on the seat, the panel lights up so the seat switch is working. If it is that switch at the female side of the seat belt latch, then New Holland says you have to give them about 0 + for a complete new assembly. Or, you can remove the female side and split the case with a screwdriver to access the switch inside. It will sit down over 2 tabs. The resistor is in the line that goes to the quick disconnect and has a lead to the seat belt switch. If you remove the quick disconnect plug end going to the two operator present seat switches and wire in a two position “on/off” switch that will solve the issue. There should be a connector you can pull apart. I believe it is a 4-pin Deutsch. The best way to do it is to get a new connector and jump the two pins for the seat switch. In this way, you can unplug the seat harness from the main harness, and then plug your jumper in.
