They advised me to use regular Engine Oil PLUS 50 in the system rather than the TORQ GUARD SUPREME fluid that I had in mind using. When New , the system had what appeared to be a greenish colored fluid in the system. Deere's plus 50 is regular 10W30 oil. If you use it in your hydraulic system, any reputable 10W30 will work fine. I have a Deere 318D that uses 10W30 oil in the hydraulic system and have had zero problems with it. My previous machine (Thomas T243HDS) also used 10W30. Unless you live in a warm climate year-round, I would use the 10W30. My 2000 260 skid steer parking brake won't release and the boom won't raise. The left pedal will not unlock however the right one does, allowing the bucket to operate when the motor is running. The engine runs for about 15 minutes at 1/3 throttle, then blows a 15 amp fuse to the key switch. The cab harness and the display have been replaced.
