I have a Mighty Mac that was made in the later 60s or early 70's . It has 1 T . HYDRA-MAC Skid Steers Auction Results. Search - 0 Lots past auction price . we had a might mac skid steer about a 4 foot wide machine way back in the mid 70.s was better than wheelbarrow, had a 2 cylinder onan and resembled a gehl skidsteer at the time with the 2 t handles. got traded for a used 743 bobcat , in early 90.,
Hydra Mac (Mitey Mac) Skid Steer I have a Hydra Mac (Mitey Mac) model 8A skid steer, the serial number is 3157 and the engine code is NHO. I was told that there used to be a Hydra Mac International when there was some kind of joint merger or whatever.

It runs, and drives but has some irritating things happening. First thing is that when I turn the key, the engine cranks, and the skidder wants to start moving, so you try to correct it by moving the drive lever, but there doesn't seem to be a 'happy place . ihmadness or anyone else out there know where and how to drain the engine oil on that 4140 skid steer with the Chrysler 4 cylinder gas engine? I did buy a manual for servicing the skid steer, but we are in the middle of moving and all my books are packed away so far, it might be months before I can lay my hands on them. Thanks, DonO It has proven to be a very good engine and commonly used world wide in Nissan and Renault small cars. You could have the only skid steer around with EFI, VVT and DOHC. This is not a joke, quiet as a mouse, vibration free engine and since there is no mechanical drive train in a skid-steer a hydraulic pump mounted on the front could supply power.

The 4120 was the same as a Hydra-Mac 5C "Mini-Mac" although I think the 5C had a Tecumseh engine. The IH 4120 had a Kohler K341 16hp single cylinder engine. I have never seen a hydra Mac or a 3200, but every other skid I have seen in the last 30 years ( with the exception of the Bobcat 310) has been set up with two traction pumps running in tandem, one for each side. Many, if not most, were built by Vickers. In all cases (mine, that is) the pumps have been SAE two-bolt flange and standard spline shaft.
